Assalamualaikum,

            The movie title GOODFELLAS (1990) tell us about a person (Henry Hill ) who are attract to join a gangster since his childhood. For him, if he become a part of them he will become a great person and even police not ever dare to touch them. He continues be a gangster eventhough he married with (Karen Hill ) and had two children. The climax tell us about Henry were caught and get into jail but once he released , he never stop his activities. He sell the drugs and ask his friends ( Jimmy Conway and Tommy DeVito ) to join him. Then, one day his friend ( Tommy DeVito ) were killed by one of the murderer. At the end of the story, Henry fell that he be at fault and he repent.

      The genre that used in this movie about gangster. This prove by Henry's father use a violent when he figure out that Henry skip his school. And we can also see the violent through Tommy DeVito, he use his gun without hesitation to shoot at the boy. For me, this movie really attract me to continue on watching it. The camera technique use by director to express the cast itself very interesting. Director always make sure his camera not stay still and its always moving to get better picture. Moreover, the unbroken shot that director use one of the secret this movie going well.  As we can seen the design of the clothes also good because if we see they always dress like they are going for a conference. In Malaysia movies , we could see the different that they not even wear a coat but wear a jeans that been ripped at the knee such a different. Maybe some of them yes, but almost all Malaysians movies wear that kind of clothes to show kind of gangster.

  

     The song that use in this movies also attract me. One of the song is "Roses Are Red" by Bobby Vinton.

the song use when Henry and Karen at the beach and receive a champagne form Bobby ( one of supported cast ) really attract me since I love the way lyrics is. So, for the whole story I like this movie eventhough its going slow at the beginning but the director give me a shock at the middle of the story which is many of shooting incident in it. And I suggest this movie to those who are really like gangster action because it is really interesting.
